Lhasa, the heart and soul of Tibet, is a city of wonders, dominated by the awesome Potala Palace. You will also visit Samye and Norbulingkha, Ganden, Sera & Drepung monasteries, the Jokhang temple, the Tibetan Medical Centre and Barkhor market, Gyantse monastery, Tashilunpo monastery and Zhangmu.

Day 1   Fly Kathmandu/Lhasa. Drive to Tsedang. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2   Visit Samye and Yambulakhang. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3   Drive to Lhasa en-route Mindruling Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Days 4 & 5   Visit Norbulingkha, Drepung and Sera Monasteries, the Jokhang,
                     the Potala and Barkhor market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6   A full day trip to Ganden Monastery
Day 7   Drive to Gyantse and visit Pelkor Choede Monastery & Kumbum Chorten. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8   Drive to Shigatse and visit Tashilunpo monastery and the market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9   Drive to Xegar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Drive to Zhangmu. Overnight at hotel.

Visits to the Potala Palace, Norbulingka, Sera & Drepung monasteries, the Jokhang Temple, Samye monastery and Barkhor Market are awesome experiences and the Potala Palace is a structure of massive proportions and has been the focus of travellers to Tibet for centuries.
Norbulingka is the summer palace of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is well worth a visit. Sera and Drepung are two of the world�s largest and most intact monasteries. Jokhang temple is the spiritual heart of Tibet.
