Hermitage Honeymoon

A truly luxurious five-star Indian honeymoon to colourful Rajasthan, with its lively people in bustling bazaars,the fabled Taj Mahal, tiger seeking in the untamed world of Ranthambore national park and finally the beautiful beach at the secluded Neeleshwar Hermitage Resort

Day 01    Fly UK to New Delhi by scheduled airline.
Day 02    Arrive Delhi We welcome you with a traditional Indian garland & fire welcome & transfer you by Deluxe car, decorated with flowers, to your 5 star hotel.
Day 03    Delhi – Agra After breakfast drive to Agra (4 to 5 hrs.), enroute visiting Sikandra’s Mausoleum of the Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great. After checking in to your hotel you will visit Agra Fort with its fantastic views of the Taj Mahal.
Day 04    Agra – Ranthambore   Early morning visit to India's most celebrated monument - the Taj Mahal - built by Emperor Shah Jahan, as a testimonial of his eternal love for his queen Mumtaz. After breakfast drive to Ranthambore National Park (about 6 hrs) and check in to Jungle Resort.
Day 05    Ranthambore    Morning and evening game drives with naturalist.
Day 06   Ranthambore – Jaipur    In the morning explore the park and later drive to Jaipur (about 4 hrs) & check into hotel and relax.
Day 07   Jaipur    This morning you will be driven to the nearby 16th century hilltop fortress of Amber, ascending the tortuous paved pathway to the fort on elephant back. In the afternoon you visit City Palace - a city within a city, it includes the Govind Deo Temple; the Jantar Mantar observatory and the Maharaja's museum. On the periphery of the Palace stands Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds), an elaborate pink sandstone façade, behind which the ladies of the court sat and watched the daily life in the street below.
Day 08    Jaipur – Mumbai – Mangalore -Neeleshwar   After breakfast transfer to airport to board flight for Mumbai. On arrival take connecting flight to Mangalore & on arrival drive directly to Neeleshwar. On arrival check in to Resort to relax and begin your very special honeymoon package.
Day 09 to Day 13    Neeleshwar   Explore the local Backwaters, temples, beautiful ashrams, stroll along the beach, a chance to meditate, or take optional day trips. etc.
Day 13   Neeleshwar – Mangalore –Mumbai   After breakfast drive to Mangalore airport (about 3 hrs). to board flight for Mumbai ( ETD 14.35 hrs ETA 1550 hrs). On arrival check in to the famous Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, with the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 14    Fly back to UK   Appropriately timed transfer to International airport for your return flight.

Himalayan Honeymoon

Day 01    Fly London to Kolkata (Calcutta)
Day 02    Arrive Kolkata     Arrive Kolkata to be welcomed and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to recover from your international flight.
Day 03   Kolkata       After breakfast visit Victoria Memorial, Botanical Garden, Indian Museum and the largest Banyan tree in the world. Afternoon visit to the attractive Eden Gardens. Dalhousie Square with its many historical buildings, such as the Raj Bhavan, the Assembly House and Calcutta High Court, the imposing General Post Office and the Reserve Bank of India, Writers Building & Marble Palace.
Day 04   Kolkata – Bagdogra – Glenburn Tea Estate      Morning transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Bagdogra & on arrival drive [about 2 hrs] through the dense forest and famous tea gardens to Glenburn Tea Estate, nestled in 100 acres of forest and tea gardens high in the awesome Himalayas. Here a warm welcome awaits you at this fabulous and unique location for your honeymoon. Your cottage will be individually themed and offer fine views of the mountains, including the magnificent Kanchenjunga. Remainder of the day free to relax and begin to enjoy your special honeymoon package. Overnight in hotel.
Day 05 to 08    Glenburn Tea Estate
Relax high in the mountains for these few days. Maybe hear the history of Glenburn, and a brief overview of how the world famous Darjeeling tea is grown, manufactured and tasted. Walk down to the river bank for lunch and over the suspension bridge to Sikkim on the far bank. Travel higher into the mountains. Go fishing in the river. Stroll through the tea fields. Learn how to pluck the “two leaves & a bud” – that is later manufactured into the tea leaf that enters your teacup! Visit the Tea Nursery; learn about the different varieties of tea plants and how they are transplanted into the fields when ready. Interact with the Glenburn workers as you move from one part of the estate to another.
Day 09   Glenburn Tea Estate – Bagdogra - Kolkata    After breakfast drive to Bagdogra airport to board flight for Kolkata. On arrival check in to hotel to overnight.
Day 10    Fly back to UK   Appropriately timed transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK, or to the train station for your optional extension to Agra and the Taj Mahal.

Day 01:   Fly London Heathrow to Delhi
Day 02:   Sightseeing, including Qutub Minar; Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Red Fort and Raj Ghat the monument to
Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 03:   At leisure or optional sightseeing in Delhi
Day 04:   Board your train to Agra (0615/0812). On arrival at Agra, you will be met and assisted by the driver/guide to visit the famous Taj Mahal, the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah and Agra Fort with its Pearl Mosque and Halls of Public & Private Audience. Evening transfer to Agra Railway station to board your train to return to Delhi (1710/2045).
On arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 05:   Flight to Cochin and transfer to hotel at Fort Cochin. One of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian Sea coast, Cochin, has been a port of call for foreign traders from early times. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 06:   Breakfast, then sightseeing of Fort Cochin covering Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace &
Chinese fishing net. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 07:   Day at leisure/shopping. Evening visit to Kathakali, the traditional dance art form of Kerala at a local theatre.
Day 08 to Day 09:   Breakfast, check out and drive to Kumarakom backwater resort for 2 nights. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 10: Breakfast, check out by noon and embark on a houseboat for an overnight cruise to Alleppey.
Day 11 to Day 14: POOVAR   Drive to Poovar. On arrival, check in to the resort for 4 nights
Day 15:   Return to the UK - Appropriately timed transfer to Trivandrum Airport for return flight to the UK
